The Castle Wallshelf - Small

If you wish you could live in a castle, frolic around in the grounds or perform some miraculous fire magic, this piece is for you!

This medieval castle sculpture also functions as a candleholder or trinket shelf. Its design was inspired by my first visit to Castlefest in 2025, annual rewatch of BBC Merlin and childhood love for fantasy stories.

Please note: The second picture shows the small Castle design, it is unfired in this photo. I wanted to give this option alongside the other pieces in the Castle Collection, even though the sample is not finished. This is a smaller version of The Castle Wallshelf.

Some adjustments were made: it has 4 instead of 6 parapets, 2 instead of 4 windows, and a slightly finer bronze chain. Apart from this it will be sculpted, glazed and finished using the exact same techniques. Feel free to send me a message if you want more information: hello@vesselsofhome.com

Each Castle is completely handmade by me, sculpted from stoneware clay in my studio. Keep in mind that each Castle is unique. Small variations in coloring, size and shape are part of the character of each piece.
